Women In Technology
The Women in Technology (WIT) program aims to inspire and advance women in the technology field through education, mentorship, networking, and common support activities. Guided by the direction of the WIT advisory committee, this group focuses on creating opportunities for growth that result in business solutions, professional advancement, and personal growth.
Women in Tech Mentor Program
The mission of the mentor program is to connect women to create a mutually beneficial relationship geared toward professional and leadership development. The Mentor Program matches experienced and up-and-coming professional women to share best practices, answer questions, offer advice, and provide support in the tech industry.
Since the inception of the program in 2012, it has served almost 200 women in the greater Rhode Island area.

Women in Tech Advisory Committee
The Advisory Committee is comprised of industry and community leaders who are committed to creating a more diverse technology industry.
To join the committee an individual must:
- be invested in the WIT vision and Tech Collective mission
- promote events and programs within workplace and network
- be interviewed by Program Manager
- agree to time expectations laid out in commitment letter

Women in Tech Educational Events are designed to connect women in the industry and to assist in their leadership journey. All event topics are directed by the Women in Tech Committee and industry surveys.
Past events include: Confidence Building, How to Engage Men as Allies, Self-Care in the Workplace, Relationship Building, How to Overcome Bias, and The Practice of Making Clear Choices.
