Creusa started as a Program Manager at Tech Collective, overseeing technical programs for the organization. In the past two years, Creusa has stepped up as the P-Tech Industry Liaison as well as the Director of Strategic Partnerships, while leading Tech Collective's marketing and the expansion of programs. Leveraging her entertainment background as a vehicle to empower youth, Creusa launched the I Am That Girl Rhode Island Chapter. As a chapter Director, her focus is on shifting culture, raising the standards for how our youth treat each other, themselves, and the world. Through her commitment to the youth, she has been able to reconfigure our P-tech program to better suit the students social, and mental stability through mentorship. As the Executive Director, she will continue to drive technological change throughout Rhode Island businesses, and secure and cultivate the technology community. In her new role, Creusa will continue to ensure that Tech Collective expands its footprint as Rhode Island’s Technology Hub, as well as better incorporate diversity, equity and inclusion into all Tech Collective programming.
Director of Member Relations
Monica is the Director of Member Relations at Tech Collective, where she cultivates relationships with our partners, members and sponsors and works to provide them with the training opportunities that they require to stay at the top of their game. She has managed a small business, spent time teaching in the classroom and has worked in higher education at Molloy College and St. John’s University. She has volunteered for many years with the Boy Scouts of America, Narragansett Council as well as serves as the Chair of her church. Monica is the proud mother of three adult sons, two of whom are Eagle Scouts
Accounting Office Manager
Maureen has been a bookkeeper and office manage throughout her 30 years in business. Before joining Tech Collective she was Director of Operations for 11 years for local manufacturing company. Her personal passion is to bring people together for community activities. She is the Activities Director for her church group overseeing party planning, running a bowling league, and scheduling outdoor adventures. But her greatest passion is for her beautiful granddaughter.
Junior Marketing Associate & P-TECH Student Liaison
Destiny is the junior marketing associate with Tech Collective. She is in her second year at CCRI, with plans on attending URI next year. She has returned for her third time with Tech Collective after initially being an intern through the PrepareRI program in the summer of 2018, and throughout her senior year at Classical High School and past summer. She is now able to work with everyone in the office on various projects ranging from website management, to social media interactions, and even now being the student liason for the P-TEch Program. She is looking forward to seeing how the projects that she is involved with advance in levels of complexity, allowing her to improve her skills while being challenged along the way.
Software Analyst Intern
Naomi is a software analyst intern with Tech Collective. She is graduating from Rhode Island College May 2021, with a degree in computer science and minors in data science and cyber security. She has spent many summers participating in educational programs for providence inner city youth and began with tech collective as a Teachers assistant for the vleap program. She lead a lesson in Artificial Intelligence and assisted with student engagement. She now analysis user registration and leads user trainings for the Ptech mentorship program. She is motivated by her desire to empower young women and minorities to pursue the many avenues available in technology.
Meera is an intern at the Tech Collective, where she supports the Youth Programs, including the summer vLEAP Program and Innovation Café events with PTECH. She is currently a student at Brown University studying Computer Science and Entrepreneurship. On campus, she is a Social Innovation Fellow, Women in Computer Science coordinator, and member of Brown's Entrepreneurship Program. She is an advocate for women in technology and began a program, CodeIT Girls, to teach Scratch programming to K-8 girls and encourage them to pursue computing. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants in Providence and dancing.
