Training Overview

Whether you’re a designer, a developer, or an entrepreneur who’s looking to get your own company off the ground, knowing how to effectively lead a team and complete a project is an essential element of success.

This training reviews the fundamentals of project management. It’s a good place to start whether you’ve found yourself taking on a pm role in your organization or are looking to transition to a career in the field.

In this workshop, you’ll get an introduction to project management processes and best practices for interacting with the client, stakeholders and your team. Working with real-world examples, you’ll gain the tools and resources that you’ll need to increase focus and improve your team’s productivity.

About the Presenter:

Robert Massoud is a Lecturer in the Management department at Bryant University, as well as an Adjunct Professor at Wentworth Institute of Technology and Northeastern University.  He has over 7 years of teaching project management to both graduate and undergraduate students at these institutions. 

Rob worked for 35 years as a project and operations manager at various companies, including Kronos Incorporated, Fidelity Investments, and CVS Health/Minute Clinic.  He was involved in hundreds of projects with both internal and external facing customers and clients.  He earned his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2005, and is Past-President of the Rhode Island chapter of the Project Management Institute, an organization of over 600,000 project managers around the world.
