Anonymity: The Cost of Free

As our digital footprint grows, we find more and more “free” services offered to us. Games that are free to play, social networks that are free to participate and news that is free to consume. These “free” services are from some of the most profitable organizations. The profit comes from monetizing our personal information. In this session we will talk about the value of your personal information and how you can decide who knows what about you.

About the Speaker:

Manuel Lobao (Manny) is the Senior Manager of Information Security for Carousel Industries. He has worked in the technology field for over 25-years. His focus is on all thing’s security from Red and Blue teaming, Social and Reverse Engineering to Analytics. One thing remains the same, the passion to learn and share with the community.
