Introduction to Microsoft Power BI

In this 30-minute introduction to Power BI, we will cover the basics of Power BI (Business Intelligence), what is it exactly, what can you do with it, and how to get started.
What participants can expect to gain:
Participants can expect to understand the basic features of Power BI and how it can help you make better decisions with customized reports and dashboards containing rich visualizations. Participants will gain clarity around how to get started with Power BI, including key differences between the Power BI versions.
Short Bio: Catherine Thenault is an IT Professional with over 40 years of experience. Her current areas of focus are Content &Collaboration Management Systems including SharePoint, Teams, Office 365 and Microsoft’s Power Platform. She is also a facilitator and technical trainer. She thrives in the space where business problems and technical solutions intersect. When not working, she is happiest hiking, cycling, skiing, sailing, or spending time with friends and family cooking a great meal.

Our “Introduction to Microsoft Power BI” is taking place on Microsoft Teams. If you have never logged into a Microsoft Teams meeting before, be sure to give yourself time beforehand to download Teams.
