Getting Started with AI

January 14 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm EST

Looking to get started with AI and not sure how? Dial into this talk to learn how you can start leveraging AI/ML in your organization: common use cases, approaches (buy, build), who and what you will need, best practices, and more.

A lot has been written about the promise of AI, from “killer apps for your business” to apps that will kill your job. But little is being said about how to get started. Most organizations do not have dedicated innovation teams. And this technology is a lot more intimidating than the other ones we’ve dealt with in the past 20 years. This talk will remedy this by giving you a recipe for your first AI POC and a practical, actionable guide on how to get started with AI.

The participants will learn:

  • What AI truly is
  • How to get started with AI/ML
  • Why you should be putting your customers first
  • How to chart your AI path: use cases, prioritization, minimum viable business case, team, skills, prerequisites, etc.
  • We’ll also touch upon what to do if you don’t have data scientists on staff and options to buy or build
  • How to work with AI vendors (AI/ML as a service)

What is the target audience:
Leadership: All levels

Practitioner : You will learn what’s needed beyond the technical skills/capabilities

Small/Medium Business without an in house technology or data person: You’ll learn about options are available to you (and not all of them are vendors!).
