COVID Business Engagement Team (CBET)

CBET Overview

In partnership with Governor Gina Raimondo’s Office and the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation, the Tech Collective has formed the COVID Business Engagement Team (CBET), a volunteer task force that gathers information from the RI business community about their COVID testing strategy, outbreak response, and reopening plans. CBET has developed a data platform to gather information, assist with outreach, and analyze information that is captured.

Learn more about the efforts in our official press release (click here), and check out the Governor discussing CBET at a press conference.

Share Your Testing Plans!

As CBET continues to connect with local businesses, you can support our work by sharing your testing plans with us now! Even if you are not planning on any testing we still need your participation.

Our quick survey asks you several questions, including how you classify your employees’ risk level (high, medium or low) and your plan and strategy for continually testing your population. Once you complete the survey, a member of the CBET team may reach out with additional questions.

To complete the survey, click on the button below. Once you fill out our form, we will check to see if your company is already in our database. If not, you should expect an invitation to complete the survey within five business days.

Access the Survey!

Upon completing the survey, you will have continued access to CBET to access information that may help you answer questions for your business.

Please note: information that is compiled about your testing strategy will be narrowly distributed within the CBET but not shared publicly except when sanitized and in aggregate. See our full Privacy and Data Usage details below.

Privacy and Data Usage

CBET relays the needs of RI businesses to the state to ensure that response plans are supportive of business needs. Information provided to CBET will never be used for marketing purposes and is provided only to state agencies in sanitized form.

Information that is compiled about each business’ testing strategy will be narrowly distributed within the CBET but not shared publicly except when sanitized and in aggregate. The State, Commerce Corporation and Tech Collective will leverage the information collected to spot trends across industries, pinpoint ways in which employers need more help, and identify how best to align state COVID efforts and resources with the needs of Rhode Island companies.

Your privacy is important to us. Please reach out to us ( if you have any concerns about privacy that would prevent you from participating and a member of our team will reach out.
