Our board of directors represents the most innovative large and small technology driven businesses in Rhode Island.
Tim is founder and CEO of Trilix Tech and former CEO of Atrion, which was acquired by Carousel Industries and is where he currently serves as chief client officer. He holds significant leadership roles within Rhode Island as a Trustee for the RI Public Expenditure Council, and Director of the RI Commerce Corporation
Vice Chair of Tech Collective, an IT staffing/consulting firm and has over 30 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, and information technology. Joe also serves on the Board of Directors for the Tech Collective, the Academy for Career Exploration, and the Providence After School Alliance (PASA).
Lisa is certified in Advanced Image Consulting from London Image Institute and owns two businesses, Shorr Success and Secure Future Tech Solutions. Lisa is a Board Member of The Tech Collective, Rhode Island’s voice for the vibrant technology community and a member of The Association of Image Consultants International (AICI).
In addition to serving as the treasurer of Tech Collective, Sandy also serves on the board of the Worksite Wellness Council of Rhode Island, Rhode Island Business Group on Health, and the Rhode Island Film Collaborative.
Siu-Li Khoe serves as the Vice President of Business Development for the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation. Siu-Li served as one of five founders of Rhode Island Virtual Reality (RIVR) and became Executive Director in November 2017.
As Chief Information Security Officer with more than 20 years of experience in the technology field, Jason is responsible for Carousel’s Enterprise Security and Compliance Operations and Center of Excellence. Jason currently serves on Congressman Langevin’s (D-RI) Cybersecurity Advisory Committee, Tech Collective Board of Directors, and the Rhode Island Joint Cyber Task Force.
Tuni Schartner is the Executive Director of Venture Cafe & District Hall Providence, leading the Rhode Island team in creating an inclusive, strong, supportive and accessible innovation community. She co-founded The Hive RI, Southern Rhode Island’s first coworking space, and continues to run the community-based economic development initiative at the Mill at Lafayette. She served as the inaugural director of Innovate Newport, and is a founding mentor of VMS of RI (RI Hub’s Venture Mentoring Service), as well as serves on Congressman Langevin’s Strengthening RI Advisory Committee.
Chris Ciunci is the Founder and Managing Partner of TribalVision, an outsourced marketing department for hire with 60+ employees spread across offices in Boston and Warwick. The author of two books - Market Smarter and Marketing in the Trenches, Chris has built a reputation as a marketing thought leader in the New England business community.
Todd Knapp has an extensive background in strategic planning and implementation of business technology solutions and is the founder of Envision Technology Advisors. In his free time, Todd works with several non-profits. He is a board member for RI Public Radio, and volunteers for organizations including The Groden Center, American Red Cross, RI Foster Forward, and the Rutland Rescue Mission.
Keno Mullings is the Managing Director of The Mullings Group, he fulfills his ambitions by helping and developing small businesses and non-profits through business education, consulting and coaching. Keno also heads the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Leadership. Keno is the author of The Time Management Handbook and the developer of the Strategic Life Plan System and the Bootstrap Bootcamp entrepreneurship program.
Peter E. Moreau
Peter is Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer for the Corporate Information Systems at Amica, including the planning, organization and control of the company’s information processing operations and systems development.
Bill Annino is a Client Executive on the Enterprise East team of VMware. Founded in 1998, VMware is a $10.8B+ company with an install base of hundreds of thousands of customers, including 99%+ of Fortune 1000 companies in every industry.
Kimberly Kowal Arcand is a science visualization expert where she combines her background in molecular biology and computer science with her current work in the fields of astronomy and physics. She is also an award-winning producer and director, and a TEDx speaker.
Jacques currently serves as the Chief Information Officer for the New England Institute of Technology, in East Greenwich RI.
Dr. Frank D. Sánchez
Frank D. Sánchez has served as the 10th president of Rhode Island College since 2016. In 2017, Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo appointed President Sánchez to a two-year term as a delegate to the New England Board of Higher Education.
Barry Silver has been a C-Level technology and operations executive for over 20 years, focused on evolving businesses through technology innovation and operational improvements. Currently, he is the Director of Information Technology for Pet Food Experts, a national wholesale distributor that supplies the independent pet retailer channel.
Douglas Tondreau is a Cybersecurity contractor at the University of Rhode Island Digital Forensics and Cyber Security Center. Douglas is also, Lead Computer Network and Cybersecurity Instructor at the Academy for Career Exploration.
Susan is the Human Resources Director of A.J. Oster, LLC. She serves as a consultant to management on HR related matters, understanding the needs of the business, and acting both as an employee champion and change agent across eleven distribution facilities in the United States and Mexico.
Michael Sweeney is the co-founding shareholder of Duffy & Sweeney, LTD, a leading boutique business law firm headquartered in Providence. He is recognized annually by key ranking organizations and, most recently, he was name the 2019 “Lawyer of the Year” for Corporate Law in the Providence metro region by Best Lawyers in conjunction with US News and World Report.
